An expressive depiction of the Bidwell Mansion. Lots of texture.
Echoes of the Bidwell Mansion Trivedi

Kevin Trivedi
Visual Artist | Curator | Storyteller through Paint

Kevin Trivedi is an award-winning visual artist based in Chico, California. His work blends realism, surrealism, and emotional resonance to explore memory, landscape, and human experience. With a background in fine art painting and digital media, Trivedi draws on both classical technique and contemporary themes to create layered, contemplative works.

For the Remembering Bidwell Mansion exhibition, Kevin created Echoes of Bidwell Mansion, a mixed-media piece that pays tribute to the beloved landmark lost to fire. Though Kevin had visited Chico for decades, he never had the chance to tour the Mansion. This piece is both a personal act of imagining and a communal gesture of remembrance—honoring the emotional imprint Bidwell Mansion has left on the people of Chico.

In addition to contributing artwork, Kevin also co-curated this exhibition with Caleb Klungtvet, working closely with fellow artists and the Art Etc. team to shape a show that holds space for grief, reflection, and shared legacy.
